Unlinked Fields Electric Thrusters Technology

The aerospace industry is currently entering a new stage that will require more efficient propulsion systems derived from disruptive technologies, propulsion systems such as chemical rockets and ion thrusters are reaching the limit of their capabilities, currently satellites communications and the plans to colonize Mars and some moons in our solar system make a quantum leap in spatial thrusters a necessity.

The true importance of a 100% electric aerospace thruster lies mainly in the fact that it does not depends on the limitations imposed by the so-called Tsiolkovski rocket equation that establishes that it is not possible to obtain higher speeds generated by a jet engine simply increasing the amount of fuel since as can be clearly seen adding additional fuel also increases the total mass that is desired to be accelerated.

Essentially it states that higher speeds can not be achieved by merely increasing the amount of fuel as additional full also increases the mass that need to be accelerated.

In conclusion 100% electric thrusters will be the trend of aero spatial thrusters.

An emerging technology that could lead us into a new era of space propulsion design is the unlinked electromagnetic field thrusters which provide a 100% electrical solution to the problem of powering satellites and spacecraft.

Our design using exclusively electric energy does not have the limitations stated by the Tsiolkovski rocket equation.

In consequence an alternative can be to increase exhaust velocity like in ion thrusters which use a mass in the form of a gas that is ionized and subsequently accelerated with electric fields in such a way that the expulsion speeds of said gas are much higher than those that can be achieved with a chemical thruster, however the ion thruster requires storing large quantities of propellant gas in tanks and when these are emptied the thruster stops operating. This kind of thrusters are also limited by the Tsiolkovski rocket equation.

The unlinked field thrusters, consist of an electromagnetic field pulse emitter and a device susceptible to interacting with said electromagnetic fields which we call the target both mounted on the same structure, the emitter emits pulses in such a way, that the electromagnetic field pulses emitted have a duration shorter than the distance between the emitter and the target divided by the speed of light  so each pulse generated is disconnected or unlinked from its source of origin before interacting with the target generating a microimpulse that is repeated many times per second, creating a final impulse applied to the structure that unites both elements, the emitter and the target.

Basic Concepts of Unlinked Electromagnetic Field Thruster Technology.

Technological Foundations.

a. An electromagnetic field such as a train of electromagnetic pulses can change the dynamic state of a susceptible object without requiring a balance of momentum between the object and the element that originated the field pulses.

b. An electromagnetic field can change the dynamic state of a susceptible object even after the element that created the electromagnetic field has ceased to exist.
